The amount applied for (amount approved for grant) will be paid, up to a maximum of 20,000 yen per month.
However, if the amount actually paid to the free school etc. is less than the amount applied for (amount approved for grant), the amount actually paid will be paid.

Q-3 Will the usage fees paid in the application month be eligible for subsidy?

As a general rule, applications must be made from the 1st of the month before the month in which the subsidy starts to the last day of the previous month, but applications can be made retroactively up to the usage fee for April 2024.
