You will be required to submit documents such as a confirmation of free school enrollment. This applies to privately established and operated day care facilities that meet all of the following criteria, except for facilities established and approved by law, such as after-school day care services and facilities established by municipalities.
- A daycare facility whose main purpose is to support students who are not attending school
- Striving for the healthy development of children
- Ability to cooperate and collaborate with the school and board of education in which the child is enrolled
- Be able to report your child's monthly attendance status to the school
- In principle, facilities that are open at least one day a week and are not open only at night or on holidays
- Proper information is provided to parents regarding the operation status and fee structure.
- Facilities that are not intended only for relatives of the facility operator
- Be able to agree to hearings and on-site inspections by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government
- The primary purpose of the activity is not political or religious activity.
- Facilities that are not operated by an organized crime group, and there are no members of an organized crime group.
*As this subsidy is awarded after an application is submitted by the parent/guardian and then reviewed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, please refrain from providing information on your website or other media that could lead to the misunderstanding that your facility is eligible for the subsidy. Depending on the content, this may conflict with the requirements for free schools, etc., as stipulated in Article 4 (6) of the Subsidy Guidelines.

- (Example 1) This free school is a facility certified as eligible for Tokyo Metropolitan Government subsidies.
- (Example 2) This free school is a facility that is eligible for subsidies from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
- (Example 3) If you take advantage of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's subsidy, you can use it for essentially free.
- (Example 4) We offer a commuting plan exclusively available to those who utilize Tokyo Metropolitan Government subsidies.
- (Example 5) If you use the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's subsidy, you can use it for just XX yen.
